After being given a Canon 80D as a graduation gift from his father, Mike began marketing his services to local model troupes, campus organizations, friends & family. This was the beginning of his journey as a professional freelancer and the catalyst to the inception of Thornwell Creative Studios.
2023 - PRES.
Shutterfly/Lifetouch
In 2023 Mike is hired as a Photographer by Shutterfly/Lifetouch LLC to take Portraits for schools in the Fairfax, Loudoun, Montgomery & Prince William County areas. He now works seasonally with them as a supervisor, training new photographers.
2018 - 2019
Natural Science Center
In 2018 Mike is hired as a photographer in the aquarium sector of the Natural Science Center where he primarily built experience working in an unpredictable environment shooting several subjects at once
